Rotterdam is the home of the Gateway to Europe and the largest port in Europe: The Port of Rotterdam. The total surface area of the port is more than 12,600 hectares. It is the biggest Port outside of Asia and a top ten Container port worldwide.

This Monday, 26th September, was the European Day of Languages, which celebrates linguistic diversity across the European Union. The day also promotes plurilingualism and lifelong language learning.

It was 1984 when I was asked if I was interested in the job of trainee customs officer. Just released from military service and looking for work, I was interested.

Freshport has been part of Customs Support for 5 years, starting 1 January 2021, it is now also carrying our name: Customs Support Fresh.
